With instruction from OERFC members at the last meeting (held on 30th September 2025), the Management Committee tabled a final offer to TWC on 1st October 2025 regarding our tenancy at Raynes Park Sports Ground, with updated terms. Despite our best efforts, we received a response from TWC today, declining our final offer.

After three years of hard work centred on delivering a modern sports and community facility, we are announcing that we are vacating Raynes Park Sports Ground, with immediate effect.

No extension to the original time frame has yet been communicated by TWC. Therefore, from midnight on Friday 3rd October 2025, it is very likely that we will not be permitted access to the site. This includes access to the pavilion and bars.

Merton Council has kindly granted us access to the bowls club for storage purposes. This means we need as much help as possible between now and midnight on Friday 3rd October, to move and clear out all our equipment and other belongings.

All other contingencies with neighbouring rugby clubs remain in place to ensure that OERFC’s rugby activities are able to carry on with minimal disruption.
